Phyllis M. (Parker) Nesler, age 99, died on March 5, 2022 at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles.
Phyllis was born on August 23, 1922 to Loren and Clara (Prescher) Parker at their home in Elgin, MN. She was united in marriage to James S. Nesler in 1941 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Elgin. Together they were blessed with 6 children.
Phyllis was a mother of 6 and helped with the running of their farms. She knew her way around the kitchen, she baked, and cooked and she was good at it. At one time she worked at Fanny Farmer. Then she worked at St. Paul Clothers at the new Apache Mall for 10 years and 2 years at Kieffer's Clothing in St. Charles. Then when she retired she went with Jim in the truck. She loved to see the countryside with him. She was a lifelong faithful member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles.
Phyllis is survived by her children, James (Carmen) Nesler, David Nesler, Nancy (Joseph) Diedrich, and Kim Diedrich; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and her sisters, Lorna Bluhm and Janice Tlougan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; sons, Sidney and Gerald; her parents; granddaughter, Jennifer; and daughter-in-law, Gretchen Nesler.
A Memorial Service for Phyllis will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 555 E. 12th St., St. Charles, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles.
