Phyllis Ann Krawczeski, 66, died Sunday, June 25, 2006, at her home in Winona, MN. Phyllis was born August 26, 1939, in Minneapolis, MN to Myrton and Myrtle (Edin) Morphew. She married Donald Ellis on August 19, 1961 and he later died in 1975. Phyllis then married George Krawczeski on July 19, 1980. He later died in 1995. Phyllis, a longtime Winona resident, was a loving wife, sister and longtime homemaker who also worked outside the home at Fibrerite, Bolens Manufacturing, Ruth's Restaurant and Lake Center Switch. She enjoyed visiting with people, cooking meals, listening to country music, watching TV. and being an active member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Highlights in Phyllis' life were taking a trip to Nashville, TN with her sister, Eleanor and going to the Grand Ole Opry, and going back to her home town of St. Charles for Gladiola Days and the Winona County Fair.Survivors include her sister, Eleanor (Robert) Berger of Backus, MN and brother, Mert Morphew of Winona, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Don and George, two brothers, John and Anthony, sister, Jane, nephew, Walter Uthke and niece, Diane Berger. A celebration of Phyllis' life is planned for Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at 2:30pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview with funeral celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. Burial will be in Bush cemetery in Ridgeway, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Tribute Center from 5-8:00pm where there will be an Eagles Auxiliary Memorial Service at 7:30pm. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
