Phyllis A. Gloyne

Goodview, MNPhyllis A. Gloyne, 78, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, surrounded by her family at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Phyllis was born June 30, 1928 in Rochester, MN to Sidney and Rose (Putratz) Nesler. She married Paul Gloyne on November 14, 1949, in Cut Bank, MT. Phyllis and Paul farmed in the Millville area for 45 years. Phyllis also worked in the produce department for grocery stores in Rochester, MN. Paul preceded her in death in 1994 and Phyllis moved to Goodview, MN in 1999. Phyllis is remembered for her love for flowers, baking, collecting rocks and playing cards.Survivors include her daughter, Pauline (Dennis) Meyer of Winona, MN; son, Sidney (Carlene) Gloyne of Boswell, OK; grandchildren, Leah Meyer, Kevin and Kolby Gloyne; and sisters, Shirley (Stan) Bowman of Winona, MN and Dorothy Radke of Plainview, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul and brothers, Calvin and James Sr.A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at 11:00am at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Chapel in Goodview, MN with funeral celebrant Douglas Hansen officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
