Penny Denise Doblar Prang, 40, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN. Penny was born January 28, 1967 in Duluth, MN and was adopted November 27, 1967 by Merlin and Irene (Feine) Doblar. Penny graduated from Winona Senior High in 1985 and graduated from Brown Institution in Minneapolis, MN. Penny worked at KG Radio as a DJ with the call name "Penny Lane". She had also worked for TRW in Rushford, MN. She married David Prang and they were later divorced. Penny was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church. Penny will be lovingly remembered as being a lover to all animals.Survivors include her parents, Merlin and Irene Doblar of Winona, MN; three brothers, Ron (Ruth) Doblar of Lewiston, MN, Gordy (Misty) Doblar of Rochester, MN and Randy Doblar of East Troy, WI; two nieces, Rebecca (Jeremy) Church of Winona, MN and Ashley Doblar of East Troy, WI; nephews, Kyle Doblar of Mankato, MN, Robert Doblar of Duluth, MN, Bradley and Brandon Doblar of East Troy, WI, Cole and Alex Doblar of Rochester, MN and Ryan Doblar of Lewiston, MN; two great nieces, Skye and Alexis Church of Winona, MN; three aunts, Delaine Kjos of Rushford, MN, Betty (Phil) Lilleberg of Montana and Caroline Doblar of Rochester, MN; an uncle, Ken (Doris) Feine of St. Charles, MN; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and two uncles, John Doblar and Carroll Kjos.Funeral services are planned for Saturday, March 3, 2007, at 11:00am at St. Martin's Lutheran Church with the Reverend Richard A. Moore and the Reverend Dr. Vernon Kettner officiating. Burial will be in the Money Creek Cemetery in Money Creek, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview on Friday from 5-8:00pm where there will be a prayer service at 7:30pm.
