Penny Ann Zeitler (Boysen), 62, of Dover died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Rochester East Health Services. Penny was born February 14, 1956 in Shakopee to Harold and Bernice (Theiss) Boysen. Her family lived in Eyota and Chatfield before making their home in St. Charles. Penny graduated from St. Charles High School in 1974. She worked at Home Produce, North Star Foods and Del's Café in St. Charles. Penny and Harry Zeitler were married September 8, 1990 in Stewartville. They have made their home north of Dover. She was working at Mayo Clinic Hospital - Methodist Campus Rochester as a dishwasher until her illness forced her recent retirement.
Penny enjoyed fishing with her family, cheering for the Minnesota Twins, going out to eat, reading the newspaper and most of all caring for her dogs, Miley, Bailey and Maddie.
Survivors include her husband, Harry; two daughters, Katelyn and Lindsey; a granddaughter, Kinsley; two sisters, Bonnie (Ken) Zitzow and Carol (John) Bedtke both of Dover; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles with the Rev. Samuel Morsching officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
