Pauline Mae Graham, 92, of Dover died Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester. Pauline was born March 12, 1926 in LeSeur County, Minnesota to Charles and Etta (McFadden) Flowers. On November 15, 1947, Pauline and James Graham were married. They lived near Albert Lea until moving to their farm north of Dover. Pauline and Jim worked very hard to save and purchase their farm. Pauline had worked for the state Hospital in St. Peter, Pop Tent Company of Albert Lea and in the business office of 7-UP Bottling Company in Rochester, as well as her full time work helping on the farm.
She enjoyed painting with oils, as well as drawing and rose malling. Pauline had been a member of Root River Artists. She had a strong faith, believing that God could do the impossible and praying until God answered her prayers. Pauline was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rochester.
Survivors include her three children; Eileen Loverink of Hollendale, Larry (Chris) Graham of St. Charles and Sandra (Steven) LaBare of Dover, seven grandchildren, Brett, Matt and Kurt Loverink, Marshall and Jared Graham, Cassandra Pressnall and David LaBare, 22 great-grandchildren and three siblings, Ina Mae Fischer of Kilkenny; Mary Ann (Joe) Becker of Albert Lea and David (LaDonna) Flowers of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim in 2013, her parents and siblings, Francis, Howard, Chuck and Richard Flowers and Margie Borgmeier.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday September 24, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rochester with the Reverend Dwight LaPine officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, September 23rd at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Monday.
