MINNESOTA CITY, MINN. - Paul M. Schroetke, 51, of Minnesota City died on Friday, July 14, 2006, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, Minn. Paul was born on May 6, 1955, in Winona to Arthur V. and Grace (Golt) Schroetke. He was raised in Winona. Paul served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974. He married Susan Thatcher. They were later divorced. Paul worked at Midwest Metals until the time of his illness earlier this year. His interests included fishing, cooking, driving in the country, and spending time with his family, especially his daughters. Paul is survived by three daughters: Ashley, Lizabeth, and Allison, all of Winona; one brother: Peter (Pam) Schroetke of Winona; three sisters: Kay (Joe) Kronebusch of Goodview, Minn., Mic (Larry) Armitage, and Sandy (Jim) Wood, both of Winona; and by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a Catholic Wake Service at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Tribute Center, with the Rev. Thomas Hargesheimer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona. Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Tribute Center.
