Paul John Schlink

Paul J. Schlink, 84 of Lewiston, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Lake Winona Manor.
Paul was born June 20, 1931 in Rollingstone to Jacob and Cecilia (Kirch) Schlink. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1950-1952. On April 21, 1956, he married Dorothy Brantner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lima, WI. They made their home in Lewiston. Paul worked for 30 years as a custodian at the Lewiston-Altura Elementary School. He was a member of the Lewiston American Legion.
Paul is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 60 years; three children, Robert (Cindy) Schlink, Carol (Chris) Prondzinski and Dale (Becky) Schlink; son-in-law, Frank Swain; six grandchildren, Scott Schlink, Lisa Brickner, Kyle Schlink, Jason Prondzinski, Amber Swain and Ben Swain; 5 great-grandchildren, Evan Albrecht, Carter & Breah Schlink and Justin & Jadin Prondzinski; one sister, Rita Stuernagel and many niece and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joan Swain and two brothers, Peter Schlink and Jacob Schlink.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Reverend Glenn Frerichs officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Friday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Lewiston and one hour prior to mass at church. Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Lewiston is assisting the family with arrangements.
