Paul Herman Steinfeldt

Paul H. Steinfeldt, 94, of Ridgeway died Tuesday, March 07, 2006, at his home.Paul was born on July 23, 1911, in Pickwick, Minn. to Ernest and Anna (Larson) Steinfeldt. He was raised in the Ridgeway, Pickwick area. He attended Lower PickwickValley School. He married Anita Pflughoeft on January 18, 1941. Paul farmed all of his life in the Ridgeway area. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway.Paul is survived by his wife, Anita; two sons: Jerry Steinfeldt, and Roger (Carolyn) Steinfeldt, both of Winona, Minn.; two daughters: Delores Halvorson of Ridgeway, and Carol Steinfeldt of Winona, Minn.; six grandchildren: Connie, Travis, Chad, Lacretia, Brian, James; one brother, Ed (Eleanor) Steinfeldt of Pickwick, Minn.; one sister, Florence (Russell) Bublitz of Winona, Minn.; two sisters-in-law: Geraldine Steinfeldt, and Dorma Steinfeldt.He was preceded in death by five brothers: Emil, Rolland, Harold, LeRoy, and Victor; and two sisters: Elnora Steinfeldt and Dorothy Frauenkron.The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2006, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, Minn. with the Rev. Galen Riediger officiating. Burial will be in the Bush Cemetery in Ridgeway. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hoff Funeral Homes - Houston Chapel and an hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
