Patrick Jay Lovejoy

Patrick Jay Lovejoy, 66, of Eyota, died Friday December 11th, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in Rochester. Patrick was born February 24, 1954 in Rochester to Ronald and Margaret Elizabeth (Chase) Lovejoy. He graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1973 and went on to work in his family business, Ron's Service Garage in Eyota. Patrick later went to work for Mayo Clinic environmental services, retiring in February, after 18 years of service. He was a quiet man, who enjoyed watching T-V, going to sporting events and working with his model trains.
Patrick is survived by his brother, Andrew, of Eyota, a sister-in-law, Kathy Lovejoy, aunts, Mary Bigelow and JoAnne Lovejoy and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents in 2013 and his brother William in 2018.
Graveside services for Patrick will be 2 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Eyota with the Reverend Tim Biren officiating. Please wear facemasks and socially distance at the service.
