Patricia Marie (Riemann) (Wait) Glynn

Patricia Marie (Riemann) (Wait) Glynn, 76, of Winona, MN, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her daughter's home, surrounded by family in St. Charles, MN.

Patricia "Pat" was born on August 6, 1946, to Harold and Caroline (Paradise) Riemann in Minneapolis, MN. They later moved to Austin, MN and then to Winona, MN. Patricia graduated from Winona Senior High.

She married Duane Wait and together they had 3 children making their home in Elba MN, they divorced. Pat moved to St. Charles where she met and then married Lawrence Glynn in St. Charles, they later divorced. Pat fiercely fought colon cancer for 6 and half years and in her own words, "I'm going to kick cancer's ass!".

Pat had a love for her books, plants, and coffee. She could be found at Del’s café in St. Charles or Hy-Vee in Winona having coffee and reading her books. Pat, also really enjoyed the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, the King and Queen crowned and pronounced her as Lady Patricia of Three Rivers of Winona Region. She enjoyed riding her scooter. Pat had love for cooking especially cooking for family and friends. If you said you were hungry for something, she would make sure to make it and then bring it to you!

Pat loved her family and friends dearly and she spoke (bragging) of them often.

Patricia is survived by her son, Douglas (Jean) Wait, Minnesota City, MN; daughters, Laura Wait, Winona, MN and Julie Goldtrap, St. Charles, MN; 7 grandchildren, Justine Gahnz, Josh Gahnz, Ashlee (Greg) Otero, Victoria (Oscar) Olivares, Tammy (Ben) Wait, Samantha (Tony) Ramthun, Corbin (Katie) Wait and Cody Gaines; 13 great grandchildren,  Luis, Christian, Qwinten, Jaylynn,  Jabaree, Mia, Bentlee, Sofia, Aubre, Copper, Ariana, Kymara and Elaina; 2 sisters, Melanie (Roger) Brand and Theresa (Kevin) Northouse; and 1 sister-in-law Margo Riemann.  As well as she is survived by many nephews and nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Riemann and grandson, Karson Gahnz.

A Celebration of Life for Patricia will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Hoff Celebration of Life Center, 3480 Service Dr., Goodview, MN. A Gathering of family and friends will take place from 1:00-3:00pm on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview, is assisting the family.
