HOFF FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICE FREMONT, MINN. - Patricia A. "Pat" Johnson, 68, of Fremont, Minn. died on Tuesday, April 8, at Gundersen - Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis. Pat was born on December 16, 1945, in Rushford, Minn. to Lloyd and Helen (Engrav) Lerol. She was raised on Vinegar Hill, east of Rushford and graduated from Rushford High School. Pat was united in marriage to David Johnson on August 17, 1963. She worked at the Altura turkey plant, Wincraft, and Lewiston Villa. She helped her husband haul milk, and also did house cleaning for friends. Pat was a member of North Priarie Lutheran Church and the Lewiston American Legion Auxiliary Post 90 in Lewiston. She enjoyed her daughter's Basset Hound, Duffus, raising her pet sheep, Billy, Sudoku and Cryptogram puzzles, roller coaster rides at Six Flags, but most of all she loved to be with her family and friends. Pat would do anything for anybody. She had a heart of gold. She is survived by her husband David; three children: Tammy Monahan of Winona, Lori (Dan Anderson) Johnson of Witoka, and Brenda (Jerry Moger) Kroening of Utica. Nine grandchildren: Crystal, Carrie, Katie, Kyle, Benji, Taylor, Kaylee, Meghan, and Alyssa; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Janice Brown of Stockton and Bonnie (Ken) Torgerud of Rushford; and a sister-in-law, Mavis Lerol of Pine Island.Pat was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenny; and one great-grandchild, Ashlyn. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014, at North Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Lanesboro, Minn. with the Rev. Janet Warnes officiating. Burial will be in the Fremont Scottish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hoff Funeral Service in Lewiston and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church
