Patricia Ann Fawcett, 70, of Winona died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at St. Anne's Extended Healthcare in Winona. Pat was born December 15, 1939 in Valton, WI to Delbert and Myrtle (Dietz) Mortimer. She graduated from Winona High School. On March 5, 1960 Pat and Ray Fawcett were married at Central Methodist Church in Winona. They later moved to Cottage Grove, MN where they lived for 20 years until returning to Winona in 1988. Family meant everything to Pat. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She belonged to Central Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts, flowers and traveling the country on bus tours. Survivors include her husband Ray, three sons, Craig (Melissa) Fawcett of Thief River Falls, MN; Curt (Jamie) Fawcett of Eau Claire, WI and Chris (Theresa Hamm-Fawcett) Fawcett of Sioux City, IA, 12 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty McLaughlin and a brother-in-law Dave McLaughlin. Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Saturday at Central Lutheran Church in Winona with The Reverend Jeff Franko officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Friday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Services-Hansen Goodview Chapel and one hour before services at the church.
