Patricia "Pat" Alice Walters (Pierce), on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 went home to be with her Lord and Savior, at 82 years, a loving wife and mother of four children.
Pat was born in a blizzard on Dec 9, 1935 on the family farm outside of Fremont, MN. To Guy Richard and Emma (Morey) Pierce. In 1953 Pat graduated from Eyota, MN and found the love of her life. Richard & Pat were married on Feb 10, 1956. They were blessed with 4 children. Pat was a wonderful homemaker first and foremost. She worked at NW Bell Telephone, Grants Dept Store, MN SE Tech Cafeteria, & Steak Shop Catering. Pat & Rich were both active members of the Pickwick Baptist Church, and of lately Cornerstone Church. She was a devoted Christian.
Being in her kitchen or garden is where she like to be. Pat loved keeping an eye out for her favorite song bird at the feeder, never to miss her bluebirds. Pat's favorite job was instilling the love of Jesus in her grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. If you made the top of her list, you got a daily phone call with the KAGE Cash Call! She loved her country-western music and bowling. Pat's sense of humor came alive in the past few years. Her years of garage sales never let a good deal slip by.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Richard; children, Randy (Karen) Walters, Cheryl (Kevin) Larsen, Scott (Kris) Walters, and Tammy (Bob) Pape; 9 Grandchildren, Allen Walters, Corey (Breana) Larsen, Marcus (Megan) Walters, Toni Walters, Marshall (fiancé Mariah) Walters, Mitchell Walters, Jay Walters, Shawn (Hannah) Pape, Jena (Mitch) DeMoss; 8 Great Grandchildren, Riley, Logan, Colt, Annabelle Larsen, Mason Clark, Raelynn Walters, Everly & Hayden DeMoss; brother, Richard Guy Pierce; sister, Jane Fellows; a special friend and care taker, Marian Killian; and special neighbors, Bruce and Jan Harem.
