Osul "Ted" Haaland

Osul Theodore “Ted” Haaland, age 84 of Winona, MN, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024, at Saint Anne’s Extended Health Care in Winona, MN.

Ted was born on March 16, 1939, in Morris, MN.  He was preceded in death by his father, Osul Haaland; his mother, Marion Landahl Haaland; and his wife, Maria W. Faust.

Ted graduated from the University of MN in 1965, with degrees in History, Philosophy and Art. His interests and hobbies were broad, with a passion for photography, poetry and jazz music. Ted’s most adoration was for his cherished and beloved wife, Maria.

Ted's love of poetry was a true gift that he shared with many, not to mention conversations peppered with quick wit and plenty of puns!  His kind and gentle spirit will be sorely missed.

There will be a Memorial Service on May 3, 2024, at 10am, at Hoff Funeral Home (3480 Service Dr.  Winona, MN) with visitation beginning at 9am.
