Odean Franklyn Goss, 89 of Lewiston, died Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Lewiston Senior Living.
Odean was born September 7, 1931 in Winona to Homer and Cora (Sebo) Goss. He graduated from Lewiston High School. On February 12, 1953, he married Mary Anne Henderson. Through the years, Odean worked as a Dairy Farmer, owned and operated the Lewiston Surge Service with Mary Anne, drove across the country for McNeilus and worked for Hoff Funeral Home.
He was a faithful and active member of Pioneer Presbyterian Church. Odean belonged to the Masonic Lodge Rising Sun 49 St. Charles, Sunshine Chapter Eastern Star 98 St. Charles and was an active member of his community throughout the years.
In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and took great pride in his lawn.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne of 68 years; five sons, James (Kimberly), Robert (Lynne), Thomas (Debra), Karl (Mary Sue) and Daniel; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Patty); sister, Anah (Howard) Munson; sister-in-law, Allene Neitzke and many nieces and nephews.
Odean was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray and Noel (Dorothy); and sister, Coralyn (Charles) Radatz.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - St. Charles with the Reverend Tim Gerarden officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Mecklenburg Cemetery.
