Norman ("Sonny") Randy Anderson Jr., age 63 of Indian Creek, WI, passed away on April 28, 2018. Norman was born on May 18, 1954, in Winona, MN, to Gloria and Norman Anderson Sr. He attended Cochrane-Fountain City High School. On June 12, 1976, he was united in marriage to Colleen Denison, and they had three children. Norman and Colleen later divorced. Norman's career as a truck driver spanned almost 40 years and included employment with Buffalo Lumber and Tie Company, Baures Excavating, and Wilbur Trucking.
Norman was passionate about both American history and firearms. He enjoyed spending time with family, reading, hunting, traveling, and having coffee at Blooming Grounds in Winona. He also loved animals and was adored by them in return. Norman will be remembered for his easy going, kind, and loving nature.
Norman is survived by his children, Danielle Anderson (Andrew Meyers), Luke Anderson (Molly Parry), and Cole Anderson (Allison Anderson); his grandchildren, Colten Anderson and Henley Adams; and his sister and brother in law, Sherry and Peter Rothering, along with his nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Norman was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, MN, on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9am until 11:30am with a service of remembrance being held at 11am.
