Norbert Edward Kronebusch, 94, of Altura died Friday evening May 4, 2007 at St. Anne's Extended Healthcare in Winona. He was born July 7, 1912 in Altura to John B. and Virginia (Frisch) Kronebusch. He and Regina Scherbring were married November 18, 1943. He was a lifelong dairy farmer and the couple farmed at Altura. In his retirement Norbert enjoyed traveling throughout the country and tending to his garden. Regina died July 17, 1986. He entered St. Anne's Extended Healthcare in 2004. Norbert was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Altura and a faithful follower of the Lord. He is survived by four children, Francis (Charlene) Kronebusch of Utica; Mary (Scott) Dahl of Rochester; John (Deborah) Kronebusch of Elba and Dan (Debbie) Kronebusch of Altura, ten grandchildren; Mark (Susan) Kronebusch, Doug (Lisa) Kronebusch, Amie (Micah) Salvetti, Erin Kronebusch, David and Brian Dahl, Michael (Shelly) Kronebusch and Ryan Kronebusch and Tim and Justin Kronebusch, three great-grandchildren, Janae Salvetti, Gavin Peter Salvetti and Ashley Kronebusch, a brother, Stephan Kronebusch of Rollingstone, two sisters, Veronica Koelbl of LaCrosse and Virginia-Ann (Clarence) Scherbring of Rollingstone. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. A Funeral Mass will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Altura with Reverends Marreddy Pothireddy and LeRoy Literski celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery at Oak Ridge. Friends may call at the church from 6-8 PM Friday and one hour before services Saturday.
