Neva A. Dreher

St. Charles, Neva A. Dreher, 74, of St. Charles died Tuesday evening February 8, 2005 at her home. Neva was born March 5, 1930 in Winona County to Albert and Alma (Pfeil) Michael. She and Arthur Dreher were married on September 6, 1952 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles. In 1956 they began farming on the Albert Michael family farm. Neva graduated from the Kaehler School of Nursing in 1951. She worked as a Registered Nurse for twenty years at Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles. The couple retired from farming and moved to town in 1989. Art died October 19, 2000. Survivors include three children, David (Mary Ellen) Dreher of Millville; Sue Ann Dreher of Richfield; and Richard (Tami) Dreher of St. Charles, four grandchildren; Joseph, Joshua, Jacob, and Kaitlyn, three sisters; Margaret Martinson and Elvira (James) Wilson both of St. Charles, and Hazel Zitzow of Dover. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister Violet Janzow. Neva was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Sunday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles with the Rev. Michael Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
