She enjoyed a friendly card game, Sunday night Bingo and quilting with the ladies at church. She took many bus trips with her friends to plays, shopping, and Viking games. She enjoyed going to the Amish greenhouses and shopping for flowers in the spring, there was always an abundance of flowering pots and hanging baskets in the yard. Going on the 100 Mile Garage Sales, attending Gold Rush Days and Cranfest was always on the must to do list. She enjoyed baking, Christmas baking was her favorite, there were always plenty of baked goodies.
