Nancy Gaulke

Nancy Sue Gaulke (McCabe) passed suddenly on March 24, 2025. 

Nancy was born in Racine, WI, and moved to Winona as a child, where she would meet and married Don Gaulke in 1983. They loved spending time together outdoors, shared an appreciation for music, and always bet $1 against each other whenever the Vikings played the Packers. Nancy also loved animals, ice cream, Pepsi, and mysteries, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. She left us with an appreciation for each other, an enduring sense of wonderment, and proof you really can bring too many snacks. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy (Brown) McCabe and a number of beloved pets. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Don Gaulke; her children, Andrea (Brice Coolen), Matthew (Jessica Erdmann), and Miranda (Hlao Vang); her cherished grandchildren, Malakhi, Ayden, and Iris; and her sister Susan McCabe.
