Myles L. Vaughn

Myles L. Vaughn, 74, of Rollingstone died Friday evening at his home. Myles was born October 26, 1931 in Winona to Watson and Mildred (Biltgen) Vaughn. He and Dolores Yarolimek were married on September 9, 1954 in Rollingstone. The couple made their home in Rollingstone. Myles drove truck for Keller Company and for Rollingstone Lumber. He later worked for Light Press, Winona Daily News and retired from Hubbard Foods of Altura. Following his retirement he worked part-time for Mid Town Foods and drove truck for Gene Speltz and Al Kreidermacher. Myles was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Rollingstone, Winona Athletic Club, Winona Eagles and the Redman Club. He was a longtime member of the Rollingstone Volunteer Fire Department. He loved to fish and enjoyed playing softball and baseball and had bowled for more than 50 years. Survivors include his wife Dolores, two sons, Daniel (Cheryl) Vaughn of Goodview and Donald (Denise) Vaughn of Rollingstone, four grandchildren; Dana, Jenna, Alex and Deana, a sister Arlys (Gerald) Bade of Goodview, five brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Vaughn of Rollingstone; Harold Vaughn of Galesville, WI; Victor (Bunny) Vaughn of Minnieska; Patrick (Donna) Vaughn of Minnesota City and Jack (Bonnie) Vaughn of Homer. He was preceded in death by his parents and three infant brothers. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Rev. Don Lovas officiating. Cremation burial will occur in St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona. Friends may call at Holy Trinity Catholic Church from 5-8 PM Tuesday and one hour before services at the church.
