Milton Glenn Ellinghuysen

Milton Glenn Ellinghuysen, 76, of rural Winona passed away Friday September 8, 2006 at his home. He was born February 19, 1930 in Hillsdale Township, Winona County to Arnold and Erna (Tews) Ellinghuysen. He farmed in Winona County. On June 23, 1951, Milton married Audrey Ann Kulas at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona. They farmed in Hillsdale Township all their married life. In the mid 1950's Milton briefly worked for Moorman's Feed Company. Milton was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church - Silo, in rural Lewiston. He had served on several church boards. Milton enjoyed farming, fishing, listening to country music, visiting with people and time spent with his family. Milton survived by his wife, Audrey, one son Glenn (Deb) Ellinghuysen of Lewiston, five daughters; Kathleen (Ted) Mart of Utica, Bonnie (Roger) Oldham of Stockton, Mary (Gerald) Luehmann of Lewiston, Sandy (Gary) Wenzel of Winona and Carol (Jerry) Brown of Winona, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, on sister Gladys Beyer of Lewiston and several brothers and sisters-in-law; Gordon Gibbs, Lois Ellinghuysen, Warren Matzke, Lois Mackay, Elaine Jick, Bernie Mayzek, John Mayzek and Jim Mayzek. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Kenneth and two sisters, Lorraine Gibbs and Jeannette Matzke. Funeral Services will be 11AM Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church - Silo in rural Lewiston with the Rev. William Meilner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Monday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service's Hansen Tribute Center at 3480 Service Drive in Goodview.
