Mildred S. Vaughn

Mildred S. Vaughn, 96, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Sauer Memorial Home in Winona, MN. Mildred was born July 21, 1908 in Rollingstone, MN to Frank and Agnes (Einhorn) Biltgen. She married Watson P. Vaughn July 29, 1927 in Winona, MN. He later died on December 6, 1987. Mildred retired from Asco Inc. and then worked part time in the housekeeping department at Community Memorial Hospital, Winona, MN. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone and its Rosary Sodality. Mildred will be remembered for her devotion to God and her family. She enjoyed canning, crocheting and was a Minnesota Twins fan. She looked forward to attending the SEMCAC Senior Dining site and treasured her friends there.Survivors include one daughter, Arlys (Gerald) Bade of Goodview, MN; five sons, Myles (Delores) of Rollingstone, MN, Kenneth (Carol) of Rollingstone, MN, Harold of Galesville, WI, Victor (Bunny) of Minnieska, MN and Patrick (Donna) of Minnesota City, MN; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Watson, three infant sons, sister, Frances and two granddaughters, Renee (Bade) Brown and Tracy Vaughn (daughter of Victor and Bunny).A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, August 2, 2004 at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Cronin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 5-8:00pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. There will be a Christian Prayer Service held at 7:30pm at the church Sunday night. Hoff Funeral Homes ? Burke Winona Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
