Mildred Lorine Groth

Winona, MN-Mildred L. Groth, 94, died Friday, January 13, 2006 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. She was born on June 27, 1911 in Winona, MN to Alfred and Johanna (Larson) Linander. Mildred married Julius Groth on September 15, 1928 in Winona, MN. Mildred was a homemaker and custodian of the Grace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, MN, where she was also a lifetime member and member of the Ladies Aide. Mildred will be remembered for her love of gardening. Survivors include a son, Ronald (Karen) Groth of Winona, MN; a daughter, Janet (Terry) Brugger, Winona, MN; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius; 3 sons, Albert, Herbert, and Darel Groth; a daughter, Genevieve Wahlstrom; 4 brothers; and 8 sisters. The funeral service for Mildred Groth is on Tuesday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, MN, with interment following the service at Bush Cemetery.
