Michael Zeiher

Goodview, MNMichael David Zeiher, 48, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at his home in Goodview surrounded with love and the support of the people that he cherished. Michael was born February 14, 1955 in St. Peter, MN to Jerome and Marilyn (Pfarr) Zeiher. He spent his childhood in his beloved hometown of LeSueur, MN, and graduated from LeSueur High School in 1973. He served in the U.S. Army and had been stationed in Germany. Following his discharge from the army, he attended college at Mankato State and Winona State University. On August 30, 1980 he married Kim Dehlin in Winona, MN. Michael had a tremendous work ethic, which showed in everything he did, including the work he preformed as the lead pressman at Winona Printing Co. for the past 15 years. Michael was an active member of Central Lutheran Church where he was privileged to serve as a Youth Guide for young people preparing for confirmation. Michael was also a member of the American Legion in Winona. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He and his family enjoyed spending time together camping and celebrating the beauty of nature.Michael is survived by his wife, Kim; two daughters, Ashley and Laura; mother, Marilyn; and five brothers, Steven (Ann), Scott, Mark and Troy all of LeSueur, MN and Tim (Kathy) of Atlanta, GA. His father, Jerome, precedes Michael in death.A memorial service is planned for Friday, December 26, 2003 at 11:00am at Central Lutheran Church in Winona, MN. Interment will take place at a later date. Friends may call from 9:30am until time of service at the church on Friday. Hoff Funeral Homes ? Burke Winona Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
