Michael J. Lowther

Michael J. Lowther, 32, was taken from us in an ATV accident this past Sunday, September 18, 2005 near Hayward, WI. Michael was born April 1, 1973 in Winona, MN to Joseph and Linda (Speltz) Lowther. He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1991 and became an excellent diesel mechanic. He went to work for Lawrence National Leasing where he enjoyed applying his skills. Michael married Carrie Coshenet and have two children, Jena and Blaine. They were later divorced. Michael's work ethic was evident starting at age two when he helped his mother and father stack firewood and carried that ethic until the day he left this world. Michael had been living in Dodge, WI with his best friend, Lisa Glenzinski and her children Tyler and Katie. His family will miss his energetic smile, his warm loving heart and his laughter. We love him dearly and will miss him always.Survivors include his daughter, Jena; son, Blaine; his best friend Lisa and her children, Tyler and Katie; parents, Joe and Linda Lowther of Wabasha, MN; brother, Jacob (Beth) Lowther and their son Logan of Apple Valley, MN; aunts and uncles, Mic Lowther, Michael (Debbie) Lowther, Patrick (Michael) Lowther, Sharon Lowther, Patrick Speltz, Jolene (Robert) Overbeck; and numerous cousins.A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 11:00am at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service, Hansen Tribute Center (3480 Service Dr., Goodview, MN) with Funeral Celebrant Douglas Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8:00pm.
