Meta L. Wiskow

Meta L. Wiskow, 93, died Saturday, December 23, 2006, at Whitewater Health Care in St. Charles, MN. Meta was born August 4, 1913, in rural Lewiston, MN to William and Anna (Krenzke) Horn. She married Gerhart Wiskow on September 1, 1938 in Decorah, IA. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1985. Meta and her husband Gerhart owned and operated Wiskow Produce in St. Charles for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MN. Meta enjoyed quilting, visiting friends and loving her grandchildren.Survivors include her daughter and devoted son-in-law, Judy (Arlo) Wold of St. Charles, MN; and two grandsons, Greg (Beng) Wold of Dodge Center, MN and Aric Wold of St. Charles, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerhart, three sisters and three brothers.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church with the Reverend Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles, MN. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
