Matthew S. (Erdner) Wilson

Caledonia, Minn. - Matthew "Matt" S. (Erdner) Wilson, of Caledonia, died on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital in Winona, Minn. Matt was born on August 3, 1983, in Mankato, Minn. to Dennis Erdner and Candice Wilson. He was raised in the Wells and New Richland, Minn. areas. Matt attended New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva School. When he was 19 he moved to the Fillmore and Houston County areas. The past couple of years Matt worked at the baseball bat manufacturing plant in Caledonia. He enjoyed all sports. Matt is survived by his mother, Candice "Candy" Erdner of Rushford, Minn.; two sisters: Sasha Erdner of Rushford and Leah Larson of Richfield, Minn.; maternal grandmother, Carol Wilson of Rushford; paternal grandmother, Katie Erdner of Wells, Minn., two nieces, one nephew, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, both grandfathers, and one cousin. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, at Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel with funeral celebrant, Daryl Thompson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wells, Minn. at a later date.
