St. Charles, Mary O. Hove, 93, or St. Charles died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Emergency Room of Olmsted Hospital in Rochester. She was born August 28, 1916 in Hannibal, Missouri to John and Alvira (McElray) Bailey. She moved to Rochester in 1925 and graduated from Rochester High School in 1934. On July 2, 1948 she and Virgil O. Hove were married. They made their home in St. Charles, where Mary worked for First National Bank. She was a 60 year member of the St. Charles American Legion Auxiliary and a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Faith Quilters. Mary is survived by a nephew Paul (Judy) Mohlke of Rochester, sister-in-law Marie (Shank) Balcome, Rose Mary Hove, Judy Kruempel and Josephine Hove, a brother-in-law Merle "Bud" (Maggie) Hove and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil in 2002 and two sisters. Funeral Services will be 11AM Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles with The Reverend Stephen McGinley officiating.
