Mary Jacobi

Mary M. Jacobi, 90 of Rollingstone, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Lake Winona Manor.

She was born on June 12, 1933 in Minneiska to Ronell and Angeline (Schleck) Marten.

Mary graduated from Cotter High School in 1951. On September 13, 1958 she married Joseph George Jacobi. They made their home in Rollingstone and had four children.

Mary worked at the turkey plant in Altura and Watkins Inc. She retired from Watkins Inc. in 1998

 Mary’s hobbies included flower gardening, canning, playing bingo, baking her homemade buns, and daily trips to Bonnie Rae’s for coffee.

Mary is survived by her children, James (Cheryl Abuan) Jacobi, Angela (Chris Freeman) Jacobi, Thomas Jacobi, and Michelle Corcoran; grandson Sawyer Corcoran; sister Theresa (Eugene) Marking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph; sisters Rita Weins, Frances Kronebusch, Ellen Seim; brother Walter Marten, and son-in-law Shawn Corcoran. 

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone.  Visitation will be 9 a.m., until the time of the service.  She will be laid to rest at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Lake Winona Manor for the kind and loving care they showed her over the years.
