Mary F. Reiman (Pelowski), 78, of rural St. Charles, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at St Mary Hospital of pneumonia.Mary Reiman was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Winona MN to Felix and Sophie Pelowski. She grew up in rural Pinecreek, WI and with her parents, later moved to rural Saratoga. She married Lewis Reiman and they were later divorced. She worked a number of jobs, as a waitress, a home health aide, at the US Ag Department and was an Avon Lady.She enjoyed talking about her upbringing and past jobs and socializing with friends. She would always share with you what was on her mind. She loved the country, along with her animals. She raised chicken, ducks and geese until moving to the nursing home. She loved to tend to her garden, a love that she passed on to her children.Survivors include six children, a son of Utica MN, Cyndy Thorn of Houston MN, Patrick (Boon) of Clear Lake, Iowa, Leo (Cathy) Reiman of Houston, Texas, Brian (Kimberly) of Marion MN and Jeff (Tanya) of St. Charles MN; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jim Pelowski of Rural Utica MN and Jack Pelowski of Chester MN. She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Pelowski and a sister, Lorraine Smith.Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Reverend Kurt Farrell officiating. Burial will follow at Saratoga Cemetery.
