Mary Cook

Mary H. Cook, 88, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at the Lewiston Villa in Lewiston, MN. Mary was born March 9, 1916 in Harrisburg, PA to Michael and Mary Rachael (O'Leary) King. She married Gaylerd F. Cook on June 12, 1937 in Cleveland, OH. He later died in 1961. Mary made her home in Columbus, OH where she was an executive secretary at Ohio State University in the Chemistry Dept. Upon her retirement she moved to Rochester, MN in 1997 to be close to her daughter. She also lived in Plainview prior to moving to Lewiston in 2001. Mary loved to read, especially biographies and was an avid bird watcher. Surviving Mary is her daughter, Barbara (Kimm) Crawford of Watertown, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gaylerd and three sisters.There are no services planned at this time.
