Martin "Bud" S. Thompson, 80, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford, MN. Bud was born January 27, 1927 in Money Creek, MN to Carl and Emma (Sahiem) Thompson. Bud worked on the family farm in Rushford and also worked construction on various job sites. He was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church.Survivors include his two brothers, Clifford (Mathilda) Thompson of Lewiston, MN and Harold (Beverly) Thompson of St. Charles, MN; sister, Lillian Reps of St. Charles, MN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.A memorial service for Bud will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 11:00 at Hoff Funeral Homes ? Rushford Chapel with the Rev. Roger Michaelson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
