Marlys Mae Jaszewski

Marlys Mae Jaszewski, 71, of Winona died Thursday June 22nd at Lake Winona Manor. Marlys was born October 16, 1934 in Winona to Vern and Pearl (Leibner) Kobler. She was raised in Altura and later moved to Winona. Marlys married Raymond Orlikowski and they divorced. She later married Dominic Jaszewski, they have divorced. Marlys worked for Lake Center Switch which later became TRW, retiring in May after 52 years of service. She belonged to St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Marlys enjoyed baking, going for rides with her grandson Chad, a day at Latsch Island beach and going to her families' cabin. Most of all Marlys she loved to spend time with her family. Survivors include three daughters, Vicki Czaplewski (Estle Reed); Cindy (Chuck) Westby and Pattie Henthorne, three grandchildren; Chad Westby, Coral Henthorne (Sean Logan) and Chelsie Westby, all of Winona, three sisters, Mary Rossin of Winona, Dianne Fossum of Manawa, WI and Jo Linda (Ron) Jaszewski of Winona. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from 4-7 PM Sunday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Services - Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview. There will be a closing Prayer Service at 7PM Sunday with the Rev. Paul Welke officiating. Private family burial services will be in Money Creek Cemetery.
