Stockton, Marlene Emma Novak, 75, or Stockton died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at her home in Stockton. She was born April 10, 1933 in St. Paul to Erwin H. and Genevieve H. (Polsky) Paul. Marlene graduated from Johnson High School in St. Paul. She married James J. Novak on May 22, 1954 in St. Paul. They made their home in St. Paul, later moving to Sauk Centre. In 1995 they moved to Bass Camp before making their home in Stockton. She was member of the Sauk Centre Flower Club and Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone. Marlene's family would like to say 'Thank You' to her for her loving care and guidance. Survivors include her husband, James Novak, four children: David Novak of Pine Island, Laura (Mark) Ingebrigtsen of Fridley, Renee (Paul) Fox of Stockton and Nick Novak of Pine Island, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister Audrey Anderson of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin H. & Genevieve H. Paul. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Reverend Donald Lovas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Wednesday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Hansen Goodview Chapel. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
