Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and veteran, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2025.

Mark’s commitment to his country was evident in his 20 years of honorable service in the Air Force. He enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge of sports facts with family and friends. A devoted fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, as well as an enthusiastic follower of NASCAR, he could often be found passionately discussing games and races.

Those who knew Mark will remember him as someone with a big bark but an even bigger heart. He was incredibly generous, always prioritizing the needs of others above his own. His love for his family was boundless. He cherished the moments spent on the phone with his children and grandchildren.

In recent years, Mark faced health challenges.

Mark Johnson will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mark is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Michael Glenn, Mick Glenn, Melissa Edel, Maggie Kanz, Jenni Ready, and Chrissy LaClair; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and siblings, John and Donna.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Don.

Per mark’s request, a private family funeral will be held at his home.

Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
