Marjorie Ives

Marjorie Elaine Nyseth was born on October 19, 1932, in Eau Claire, WI to Murphy and Ella (Kolve) Nyseth. She lived most of her life near Money Creek, MN on the farm. Marge was a very hard-working woman. She cared for her husband and children very well. Marge would chop wood to keep the woodstove going in the winter. She did all the family clothes washing with a ringer washer and a clothesline. She tended to her large garden, did a lot of canning and was a wonderful cook.

Marge is survived by three children: Darrell Ives, Laureen Murphy and Linda (Gerry) Ledebuhr; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Gary, two sisters, Elvira and Joyce, and a child in infancy.

There will be a private family graveside service in the Spring.

Hoff Funeral Home in Rushford is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home for the wonderful care that they provided to Marge. They would also like to thank Pastor Alma for sitting by her side and praying.
