Marion S. Foster

Marion S. "Sally" Foster, 88, died Thursday, October 4, 2007, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital in Winona, MN. Marion was born April 23, 1919 in Winona, MN to John and Frances (Gromoski) Geissbuehler. She married Ralph E. Foster on July 19, 1941 in Winona, MN. He later preceded her in death in 1994. Along with being a homemaker, Marion did factory and housekeeping work for different companies in Winona including Peerless Chain and Schueler's Chocolate Factory. Marion loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading, especially poetry.Survivors include her children, Dian (Allen) Gappa of Winona, MN, Darrell Foster of Onalaska, WI, Linda (Jerrie) Seibert of Winona, MN and Daniel (Renee) Foster of LaCrescent, MN; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ralph.A memorial service to celebrate Marion's life will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007, at 1:00pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel with Pastor Doug Ebertowski officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
