Marion Lucille Erickson, 92, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester.
Marion Lucille Krumdieck was born April 6, 1927, to William and Clara (Spitzer) Krumdieck in Chatfield, MN. She attended country school Dist. #21, and graduated from Chatfield High School in 1945, after graduation she worked for Security Mutual Fire Inc. Co., Denen Electric, Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., and retired from Root River State Bank in 1985 with 32 years of services.
She married Arnold T. Erickson on September 14, 1952, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chatfield.
Marion was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, she had been a member of the Evening Guild, Altar Guild, and the Ladies Aid, she had held office in each organizations. She served on the Community Chest Committee for several years. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and held office there.
She is survived by 2 brother in-laws, Mike Erickson, and Phil (Helen) Erickson: 17 nieces and nephews, Charlotte, Geri, Lana, John, Jeff, Joe, Julie, Pete, Ron, Ramona, Rhonda, Roxanne, Rhenee, Rodney, Mary Jo, Lisa, Linda, and all their families; cousins, friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, and one brother.
A funeral services for Marion will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 28, 2019, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chatfield, with Pastor Peter J. Haugen officiating. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 A.M. Friday before services at the church. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
