Marion Dorothy Bedtka

Marion Dorothy Bedtka, 81, of Dover died Tuesday morning June 13, 2006 at Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles. Marion was born October 11, 1924 in Elba to Rheinhold and Otilla (Page) Boettcher. She was raised in Elba and graduated from St. Charles High School. On September 21, 1946 Marion married Harold Bedtka at Pickwick. The couple farmed their entire married lives in Quincy Township of Olmsted County. She entered Whitewater Healthcare Center this past April. Marion enjoyed gardening, cooking and her cats. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview. Survivors include her husband Harold, two sons, Keith Bedtka and Dale (Sue) Bedtka both of Dover, three grandchildren, Leah, Marsha and Alan, two sisters, Pearl Braun of Rochester and Viola Ehlenfeldt of Elk River. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.Funeral Services will be 10AM Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview with the Rev. Scott Hirssig officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday at Hoff Funeral Home's- St. Charles Chapel.
