Marion Catherine Pelowski

WINONA, MINN. Marion Catherine Pelowski, 97, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at St. Anne's Extended Care in Winona. Marion was born November 9, 1907 to James and Mary Gibbons. She married Dominic Pelowski on April 19, 1927; they had been married for fifty years. Marion was a life-long resident of Winona, and a life-long member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. She was the last living member of the James and Mary Gibbons family. Marion is survived by two daughters; Janice Hock, Winona, and Kathleen Thorn, Winona. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dominic in 1977, two sons; James and Robert; two grandsons Jamie and Robert and her brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. at St. Anne's Extended Care on Sunday, May 22, 2005, and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
