Eyota, Margery Ruth Raddatz, 87, of Arbor Gardens in Eyota died Sunday December 23rd, 2007 at Olmsted Community Hospital in Rochester. Margery was born September 13, 1920 in rural St. Charles to Roy and Hazel (Schermerhorn) Felstead. She attended St. Charles rural schools, St. Charles High School and Winona State College. Margery taught elementary school for 27 years, followed by 14 years on the office staff of Camera Art of Lewiston, also serving as City Clerk of Dover. She and Dale Raddatz were married January 9, 1943 in Winona. Dale died January 6, 1988. They made their home in Dover for many years. Margery has lived at Arbor Gardens of Eyota for the past 5 years. Survivors include a son Marlin (Becky) Raddatz of New Lenox, IL, two daughters Janet (Stanley) Antonson of Hollister, MO, Dawn (David) Higgins of Eyota, a step daughter, Kay Tvedt of Stewartville, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, numerous step-great grandchildren and a sister Dorothy Felstead of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother Curtis and a grandson Darin Raddatz. Memorial Services will be 11AM Thursday at Grace Community Church of Eyota with Pastor Mark Young officiating. Spring Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 4-7 PM Wednesday at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles.
