Margaret E. Anderson

MANKATO, MINN. - Margaret E. Anderson, 65, of Mankato, Minn. died Monday, March 27, 2006, at her home in Mankato. She was born on February 20, 1941, in Rochester, Minn. to Arnold and Marie (Thompson) Ackerman. Margaret was raised in Winona, Minn., and attended school there. She married Robert Anderson on June 7, 1957. She lived in Rushford for a while and then moved to Winona where she worked at Wincraft. In 1975 she moved to Mankato, Minn., and worked at Carlson Craft until 1995. Margaret enjoyed camping and dancing. She is survived by one son, Gregory (Tammy) Anderson of Mankato, Minn.; one daughter, Christine (David) Mallak of Glencoe, Minn.; four grandchildren: Justin, Nick, Mike, and Melissa; three sisters: Esther Breining of Black River Falls, Wis., Dorothy Siegler of Minneapolis, Minn., and Stella Bublitz of Winona, Minn.; and one brother-in-law, Vernon Keith of Belvidere, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Todd, one daughter, Michelle, one sister, Betty, and two brothers-in-law: Gaylord Breining and William Siegler, Sr. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, at Rushford Lutheran Church in Rushford with the Rev. Roger Michaelson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
