Margaret Christina Kreidermacher

Margaret Christina Kreidermacher, 93, of Altura died Monday July 13, 2009 at Golden Living Center in St. Charles. Margaret was born June 29, 1916 in Wilson to Edward and Helen (Koenig) Kammerer. She and Jacob Kreidermacher were married May 8, 1945 in Wilson. The couple farmed their entire married lives near Altura. Jacob died October 9, 1987. Margaret was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Altura and belonged to its CCW and St. Elizabeth's Catholic Aid. She was involved in 4-H for many years. Margaret was proud of her nine children; Helen Kreidermacher of Forrest Park, IL, Janet Speltz of Stewartville, Yvonne (Ron) Ruhoff of Altura, Audrey (Dennis) Ostlund of Pine Island, Marlene Messenger of Altura, Lloyd (Linda) Kreidermacher, Everett (Mary Ann) Kreidermacher, Stanley (Pam) Kreidermacher and Marvin (Becky) Kreidermacher all of Altura, 32 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, a brother Raymond Kammerer and a sister Marie (Gene) Bergler both of Winona. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and six brothers. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30AM Friday, July 17th at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Altura with The Reverend Marreddy Pothireddy celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery at Oak Ridge. Friends may call at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Altura from 4-8 PM Thursday, July 16th and one hour before services Friday.
