Margaret Bratzman

RUSHFORD, MINN. - Margaret M. Brotzman, 82, of Winona and formerly of Rushford, Minn. died Monday, May 17, 2004, at Gundersen ? Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wis. Margaret was born on March 21, 1922 in Arcadia, Wis. to John and Kathryn (Reedy) Bleisner. She was raised in Arcadia where she attended school. She married Basil Brotzman. Margaret and Basil moved to Rushford in 1957. Prior to that they lived in Mondovi, Wis., Durand, Wis., and Arcadia, Wis. She was a member of the Houston Baptist Church in Houston, Minn. and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Rushford. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, cross word puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Richard (Lonnie) Brotzman of St. George, Kansas; five grandchildren: Rhonda, Ann, Richard, John, and Julia; and 5 great-grandchildren: Andy, Rochelle, Lucas, Lillian, and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Bonnie, one brother, and four sisters. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2004, at the Houston Baptist Church in Houston, Minn. with the Rev. Donald Range officiating. Burial will be in the Rushford Lutheran Cemetery in Rushford, Minn. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, at Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
