Lynn was born on August 20th, 1955, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Darlene Johnson Dimitroff and Robert Peter Dimitroff. She was a graduate of Mounds View High School. She received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting degree from Winona State University in 1980. She married Brian Aldrich on January 10th, 1981 in Winona.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Brian Aldrich, their two sons, Robert and Michael (Brianna), granddaughter, Eleanor, son Philip (Joy) Evans, stepchildren, Kent (Emily) Aldrich, Lloyd (Julie) Aldrich, Janette (Hans) Law and their eight grandchildren, mother Darlene Dimitroff, brother Dale (June), and eight nieces and nephews, brother- and sisters-in-law Bob and Marilyn Aldrich of Rochester, New York, Don and Leslie Huffman of Beaverton, Oregon.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert, father- and mother-in-law, Hervey and Florence Aldrich of Salem, Oregon and brother-in-law Kent (Claudia) Aldrich of Salem, Oregon and sister-in-law Vickie Dimitroff.
Growing up in Minnesota, Lynn enjoyed camping, fishing and tennis with her family and roller skating with her brother. Her dream was to travel which she and Brian did. Bali, Hong Kong and Singapore were her favorites. She volunteered to connect international students with alumni and members of the Winona Community when asked by the President of the University. She and Brian formed many lasting relationships with graduates around the world. She loved water color painting, painting with friends in her painting circle and workshops. Most of all she loved her family: setting up Halloween displays and parties with Robert and Michael, going to museums, or hunting at their cabin near Peterson. Brian, especially, was the love of her life. Gifts in her name can be made to the American Red Cross or the Winona Arts Center.
