Luella A. Luehmann

Lewiston, Luella A. Luehmann, 83, of Lewiston died Sunday morning February 8, 2004 at the Lewiston Villa. Luella was born February 17, 1920 in Utica Township of Winona County to Hugo and Mathilda (Prigge) Dorn. She and Ralph Luehmann were married on September 27, 1941 at Immanuel Lutheran Church ? Silo in rural Lewiston. The couple farmed in Utica Township until moving in to Lewiston in 1975. Luella worked for Lake Center Switch and Herff Jones, both in Lewiston, until retiring. Ralph died November 25, 1990. Luella was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston and its Ladies' Aid. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to spend time with her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Survivors include her three children, Katherine (Kenneth) Ziemer of Rochester; Lyle (Ruth) Luehmann of Rochester and Gerald (Mary) Luehmann of Lewiston, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a brother Howard (Janet) Dorn of Eau Claire, WI. In addition to her husband Ralph two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Rev. Michael Lindemann officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 PM Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Home's ? Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services Wednesday at the church.
