Louise Iva Fratzke, 91, of Chatfield, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield.
Louise was born May 23, 1929, in Winona to Leo and Lillian (Honer) Walch. She graduated from Winona Senior High in 1946. Louise married Arthur Fratzke in September of 1947. They raised 5 children together. Louise enjoyed playing bridge and knitting, she was also a member of the St. Mary’s Altar Society.
She is survived by 4 sons; Michael (Kathy) of Winona, Jeffrey (Gayette) of Chatfield, Mark (Peggy) of Oakland, CA, Gregory (Michelle) of Rochester; one daughter; Debra (Tom) Halloran of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; Jason Fratzke, Luke Fratzke, Matthew Hopkins, Marcus Hopkins, Jocelyn Fratzke, Jessica Carlson, Cassara Pelaez, Brett Fratzke, Graham Fratzke, Garrett Fratzke, Michael Reichel, Scott Reichel; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother Herbert Walch of Knoxville, TN; sister Dorothy Theis of Winona.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband Art, sister Eleanor.
A private Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 11a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chatfield, with Father Edward McGrath officiating. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Due to Covid there will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Mayo Hospice.
