Lewiston,Lorraine Mae Kulack, 86, of Lewiston died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Lewiston Villa. Lorraine was born July 21, 1922 in Utica Township of Winona County to William and Izetta (Hislop) Schott. On December 14, 1940 she and Fred "Fritz" Kulack were married in Mankato. The couple farmed east of Lewiston for many years. He died January 14, 1991. Lorraine graduated from Lewiston High School, where she was a cheerleader. She worked as a waitress at the Recreation Bar and Café and the Rustic in Lewiston. Lorraine also worked at Forward Machine in Lewiston for many years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewiston American Legion Auxiliary and was active in poppy sales. She was a sports fan and enjoyed cheering for the Twins, Vikings and Tiger Woods. Survivors include four children; Sandi (Daryl) Erion of Eyota, Judy Forward of Lewiston, Roger (Gloria) Kulack of Lewiston and Lori (Hollis) Donehower of Minnesota City, four grandchildren; Stacy Braun, Fred Kulack, Shelley Mickow and Jenifer Dorn, nine great-grandchildren; Jim, Jake, Jerricho, Joshua, Ariel, Melina, Victoria, Rhiannon and Jade and two brothers Robert (Phyllis) Schott of Lewiston and Richard Schott of Mazeppa. She was preceded in death by her husband, and infant daughter and a granddaughter Melinda. Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Reverend Michael A. Lindemann officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7PM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home in Lewiston.
